Internships

SAIL Camp interns are vital to the success of every camp session. Our interns have the opportunity to share their love of music as they serve as role models to young string students.

SAIL Camp interns must currently be in high school, or be a recent high school graduate. SAIL Camp internships satisfy the LPS Community Service (GOPO) graduation requirement for students entering their senior year of high school.

SAIL interns will:

- Assist classroom teachers with small group instruction

- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students

- Help staff the Ship's Store at the end of each daily session.

- Perform with the campers at the final concert (required) and assist with set-up and tear-down for the concert . Interns may volunteer for morning (Overture) or afternoon (Intermezzo) sessions at SAIL Camp. Dates and times for this year's camps and concerts can be found here.

Not all intern applicants may be selected for an internship. Consideration of applications is based on experience and need.
